Where to Find Independent Air Purifiers Ratings

air purifiers ratingsDo you know where you can find the best air purifiers ratings?

Many websites that claim to be independent reviewers are really just sales outlets for a specific type of purifier, so which one do you think they rank the best?  Always their own product!

Finding purely unbiased independent air purifiers ratings and reviews is a difficult task. But, I love a challenge. So here goes!

If you want to find the best unbiased rankings then the best place to go is consumer report type websites and although not everybody will ultimately agree with their choice, they do a fantastic job of testing and review and because they do not actually sell any products their reviews are impartial.

Consumer Report For Air Purifiers Ratings

All air purifiers ratings that have been carried out by a consumer report group are tested in very precise conditions. They use a sealed room and specific amounts of pollutants are then released into the air space. Each machine is then measured for how effectively they remove these airborne particles, as well as how loud they are. Ratings are listed for both low and high-speed levels.

The other good thing about consumer report groups is that they are always current and they rank air purifiers on an annual basis which is good as manufacturers are bringing out new models with differ technologies all the time.

Another good source is to use Air Purifiers America (APA) who do a great job of testing and ranking air purifiers and even though they do sell their own products they still seem to do good job and are dedicated to providing top quality information to their customers.

They do their own testing on a small number of purifiers and are very free with presenting the details of their research. They also rate products based on clean air delivery rates, independent testing and customer feedback. The APA website also provides excellent additional information for buyers of air purifiers.

Many other organizations that rate air purifiers – including Allergy Buyers Club, James Dulley and the consumer guide group almost always rely on  sketchy and biased opinions rather than actually carrying out full product testing. The majority of what they do is to focus the ratings on cost factors and how noisy they air purifiers and not what it is designed to do which is to remove dust and allergens from the air.

Where to Find Air Purifiers Ratings

If you are looking to see what real people are saying about the product then read the reviews at places like Amazon or Epinions. Here you will get a wide variety of reviews both good and bad which will help in your research and you may pick up some valuable information as well.

Whatever you decide to do when reviewing air purifiers ratings is to look at a number of sources before you make your decision.
