Honeywell HEPA Air Purifier Maintenance How To Clean Lifetime HEPA Filter
Easy Steps To Change The Pre Filters On Your Honeywell HEPA Air Purifier
If You need to change the filter on your Honeywell HEPA Air purifier, it is a very simple procedure that will take you just a few minutes to do and no special tools are required. The actual hepa filter should never need to be replaced so what you are changing is only the carbon pre filter.
Step 1:
Make sure that you disconnect from the power supply from your honeywell hepa air purifier before you attempt to remove the filter.
Step 2:
DO NOT try and wash any of the honeywell HEPA air purifier filters including the carbon and hepa filters as they are not designed to be washed and doing this will damage them permanently.
Step 3:
Open the Honeywell Hepa Air purifier by placing it on it’s side and gently unscrewing the locking screw that is located on the base of the unit.
Step 4:
Take the round air filter out of the base unit internal chamber. The air filter consists of two parts the pre filter and the hepa filter. The pre filter wraps around the hepa filter.
Step 5:
Find the seam on the pre filter that secures it on to the hepa filter and carefully separate it so that it comes away and discard.
Step 6:
Wrap the new pre filter around the hepa filter so that the ends meet and fasten them together with the special fastener provided.
Step 7:
Hold the whole filter and replace it back into the internal chamber of the machine, closing the base and locking it back into position.
Step 8:
Your Honeywell Hepa air purifier is now ready to be used.
