Every Home Should Have A Dremel 4000

It’s superior quality, total flexibility and low cost turn it into a device that’s going to be very difficult for competitors to compete with.

My Favorite Features Of The Dremel 4000 Rotary Tool

It’s versatility. Having owned a dremel before, all of the attachments from my previous model worked with my new dremel 4000 rotary tool. So if you’ve owned a Dremel in the past, you can use those same bits and accessories with this one.
Adjusting the speed was easy and controllable because you have the ability to change the speed gradually from 5000rpm to 35000rpm.
In contrast to previous models in the series, the case that comes with the dremel 4000 rotary tool is more streamlined so not as bulky as before.

What I did not like About The Dremel 4000 Rotary Tool

This is being marketed as a slender tool, but it is actually larger than on past dremels. The new cooling system and the speed feedback circuitry made it necessary to make the handle thicker and longer. It is still however perfect size to be able to work with it comfortably. Should you be getting one to allow you to do detailed work, I would suggest also getting the flex shaft attachment, which will allow you to get into the smallest of spaces.

9 ways A Dremal 4000 Rotary Toll Can Be Used

You will be amazed at the multitude of things that the dremel 4000 rotary tool can be used for. Here are just a few ways you can use the Dremel 4000:

  • Sanding wood (I made use of the planer attachment to shave wood off our door when it got jammed)
  • Polishing wood, metal and gemstone’s
  • Engraving/etching metal, plastic or glass (Using the dremel engraving tools requires lots of practice)
  • Drilling into wood, plastic or metal
  • Cutting through wood, metal, plastic or tile
  • Grinding wood or metal
  • Cleaning rust off objects (It was the only thing that took the rust off my sinks)
  • Giving the dogs nails a trim.
  • Carving a pumpkin
  • Routing wood

The uses of the Dremel 4000 rotary tool are probably in their thousands. Just remember, irrespective of how you use it, it is recommended to follow one principle.
You only need a small amount of pressure. Let the speed perform the work and you’ll end up with far better results and your dremel 4000 will last longer.
